Creatio has unveiled its most advanced software release to date, Creatio Energy 8.2, marking a significant evolution in the world of business automation. The launch of Creatio Energy is intended to tackle the limitations of traditional enterprise software, where complex, costly, and low-adoption systems often hinder productivity. Creatio’s new platform combines no-code technology with artificial intelligence (AI) to create a seamless, user-friendly experience that promises to boost productivity, agility, and autonomy.

In an industry where conventional SaaS applications often come under fire for their slow implementation and over-engineering, Creatio Energy is positioned as a new type of solution. By focusing on no-code tools and AI, Creatio aims to deliver economic value and user engagement through an interface that moves beyond static forms and data, instead offering conversational prompts designed to provide deeper insights. The company claims that the platform can achieve up to 80% productivity gains in knowledge-based roles, promising significant efficiencies for organizations.

“Creatio Energy marks a new era in business automation,” Katherine Kostereva, CEO of Creatio, said. “With this release, we’re pushing the boundaries of what no-code and AI can achieve together. By combining agentic, generative, and prescriptive AI with no-code tools, we empower users to innovate and optimize operations in ways previously unimaginable. Our Creatio Copilot delivers a cohesive AI architecture, equipped with the latest capabilities, ready to be deployed from day one without the need for complex coding.”

Supporting Kostereva’s perspective, a recent Forrester report emphasises the importance of AI in the future of business applications, describing it as a transformative force that will define a new era of intelligent, adaptable, and cloud-powered apps. According to the report, AI, low-code, and marketplace-enabled systems are essential for vendors who want to remain competitive in a rapidly evolving business environment. Creatio Energy appears to align with this trend, providing over 80 new no-code features and over 20 AI skills embedded within CRM functionalities for sales, marketing, and customer service.

One of Creatio’s early adopters, Jim Slomka, Chief Revenue Officer at BSN Sports, highlighted the platform’s impact on his organisation. “With Creatio’s modern technology, we’ve been able to boost front-office productivity, increase average order size, and streamline our commercial processes without relying on IT or development resources,” he said, stressing the platform’s value in quickly scaling operational capabilities.

Creatio Energy’s features include a no-code AI skill development tool within Creatio Copilot, allowing users to create AI skills without technical expertise, making AI accessible to employees at every level. The AI Command Center, another key feature, integrates prescriptive, generative, and agentic AI capabilities, providing businesses with a single platform where AI-driven solutions can be designed and deployed without technical complexity. Additionally, Creatio has embedded AI skills into CRM processes, facilitating intelligent automation that enhances customer engagement and reduces friction in customer interactions.

The new release also introduces a transparent cost model, designed to eliminate the hidden fees often associated with traditional AI platforms. Creatio includes AI features as part of its base software license, offering businesses a predictable cost structure, which simplifies budgeting and planning for companies scaling up their AI investments. The AI Command Center provides administrators with full visibility into AI skill adoption and usage, allowing companies to track consumption patterns and manage users effectively.

Creatio Energy represents a shift from no-code platforms as mere tools to intelligent co-creators that actively collaborate with users. By embedding AI capabilities throughout the app development process, Creatio enables organizations to accelerate their innovation cycles, enhance customer experiences, and bring new products to market faster. This approach allows companies to rethink their automation strategies, positioning themselves to remain competitive in an increasingly digital landscape.

Kostereva emphasised this future-oriented vision, noting, “As technology evolves, businesses must embrace a hybrid approach where AI enhances human expertise. The future of finance, customer service, and sales lies in combining these capabilities, providing companies with the tools they need to adapt and thrive.”
